Considered one of the finest nautically-inspired clocks ever made in this country, the Mariner is a true masterpiece of American clock making. An exact reproduction of an original yacht wheel, the Mariner was first patented and produced by Chelsea Clock in 1911. Featuring their renowned chiming Ship’s Bell mechanism, this exquisite timepiece boasts an 11-jewel movement and 364 solid brass precision parts. Its forged solid brass bezel opens with the original “shield” hinge-and-latch design. The clock’s dial is painstakingly crafted of deeply etched brass that is hand silvered, enameled and lacquered. The wood base and back are crafted of solid mahogany, while the wheel’s ring and base are finished using our own lustrous hand-rubbed copper bronze process and lacquered to prevent tarnish.

Keep it Clean: Gently clean your jewelry with a soft, lint-free cloth after each wear to remove oils and dirt. For deeper cleaning, use a mild soap solution and a soft brush, then dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.
Avoid Chemicals: Remove jewelry before using cleaning products, lotions, perfumes, or swimming in chlorinated water, as chemicals can damage or tarnish the metal and stones.
Store Safely: Store your jewelry in a soft pouch or a jewelry box with separate compartments to prevent scratching. Keep it away from direct sunlight and humidity to preserve its luster.
Handle with Care: Avoid wearing fine jewelry during physical activities, such as exercise or housework, to prevent unnecessary wear or damage.
Check Settings Regularly: Periodically have your jewelry inspected to ensure stones are secure and there are no loose components.
